April meeting....

Where:  Tousley motorsports
When:   April 28th
Time:    11:00am

There will be an orientation group ride, put together by our Sheppards, for those that need to learn how to safely ride in a group.  Others are welcome to ride along (but probably a little bit of distance from the group?)  

Tousley has said they will make sure we have snacks to eat.  We thank them for that.

Bear contacted me today with an idea about the Orientation Ride that I'd like to throw out for discussion.

Since this is a riding group (we do ride a lot) and the weather has been so nice, would it be better to do the Orientation Ride before the April Meeting.

Possible dates would be the 7th, 15th, 21st or 22nd.

As it turns out, I have work conflicts with the 14th and 28th but if we stay with the 28th I'm sure Bear will show you a good ride.

Sorry I've been on a bit of a hiatus for the past couple of months due to work/school.

Is this group ride still happening on the 28th?

I'm sure one way or the other, if the weather is good, there will be a ride after the meeting.

I would still like to do a short ride after the meeting. I was thinking of riding north on hwy 61 go east on hwy 96 then north on hwy 95 to Marine on the St Criox. We could even have a little lunch there. I know Papa can not make this but I would like to get our new people on a short ride before they do one of our 250 mile rides.  Who can help me with this?

Plans have changed Bear, I will be there with a MSF handout on group riding.  Sounds like a good route though for this type of ride.  Let's just hope the weather man cooperates.

Well, looks like Debbie and I might finally make this meeting.  We are going to a B&B on Friday night (on bikes if the weather is good) and should be able to make the meeting on Sat.  If we have the bikes, I can help with the ride as well.  Just a suggestion, coming back from there on County Hwy 7 is a nice ride too.

You won't recongnize me Corn Dog.  I grew out my hair and wear it in a pony tail now.  I also got arm band tatoos and pierced my ears.  I'm semi-retired you know.  I don't have to look civilized anymore.

Vadnais Heights and scouting for food is the same day as our meeting so I am asking you all to bring some donations for the food shelf to the meeting. We will make the food shelf our first stop on the post meeting ride. Even if you are not going on the post meeting ride bring food we will drop it off. This will be a good photo op for us and help the public impression of bikers.

Who is going on this ride with Papa and Bear? It is not just for the new riders, I could use someone to lead the ride so Papa and I can work with the new riders. Lets show our new members our support.
