Jerry Riegel, Wolfgang and Susie, and I are planning on a Sunday late morning early afternoon departure with overnight in Anamosa IA to visit the MC museum Monday morning and then on to St Charles on Monday.  Jerry and I will be leaving St Charles on Thursday as well but plan to head south and then east taking a week or two to find our way back home. We are having a little planning meeting at my house on the 30th of June to get our act planned out.  Anyone interested in coming along for a Sunday departure or just to talk about their plans for Star Days is welcome.  We're meeting at 7:00 on the 30th.  My address is 4070 Blueberry Lane, Eagan 55123.

I can't make the meeting on the 30th but I'm sure I'll get the details some how.

Pappa, I'll take notes if you can't make it.  The trip down sounds good, but coming back, I have to run up to Nebraska on my way back to visit my Dad.

Sounds good Pat.  Shouldn't be much planning though.  Only one hotel in Anamosa that I could find and Cedar Rapids isn't that far away.   ;)

Found no hotel rooms available for Sunday night, 20th of July in Anamosa :(.  I booked a room in Marion Iowa (north side of Cedar Rapids), Microtel Suites, for that night the 20th.  Its about a 20 mile ride back to Anamosa.  About $75 for a non-cancelable reservation.
