Minuet:  A slow, stately ballroom dance for two in triple time, popular especially in the 18th century.

Trafficuet:  A mind boggling fast dance through traffic driving at freeway speeds.

Pick a dance everyone, fast or slow - provide your own music.

OK - I'm confused ... both calendar events , the May 3rd pre-ride, and the May 24th Memorial Day Ride point to this same forum topic.  The context of my post on 4/29 related to not being able to make the Sunday pre-ride.   ???

We will be joining you on the ride this Sunday.  I just noticed, and then voted, in the poll above.

What once looked bad now looks encouraging!  The r#$@ chances have dropped below 40% for both Sunday and Monday.  Let's see some more names here!!  (and please vote in the poll above)

The weather is not looking too good right now Rich.  What's your plan for letting us know is the ride is on or not?

I'll need to leave here around 8 AM tomorrow to get to the starting point on time.  Let us know.   ;)

I am looking at the weather and you are right. I don' t want to cancel if it's just light rain but thunder storms are not safe! For the safety of our riders I have to call this ride off. If and I say if St Jude doesn't get called off please try to do that ride and I will say a few things as I would have on Sunday's ride.

I would like to reschedule this ride for the 31 of May. I know it's after Memorial Day, I believe honoring those who have given so much is what this ride is for, so please join us.
Alan would you reset the poll for me.

I can probably make the 31. I would tomorrow but Melissa's bike is in the shop and she can't ride so I'm not going to rub her nose in it by me going for a ride..

Well, as luck would have it, Sunday the 31st looks to be a very nice weather day.  I will be on this ride and hope that a lot of our members show up for this one.  Rich has put in a lot of work planning this ride and now the weather has finally cooperated.

Let's role and have some fun.

Thanks for leading a nice ride Rich.  You did a good job of finding a great route.  Here is a picture of the Long Prairie Vets Memorial site.  It's very well done.  Sorry for the finger print on the lens causing the cloudy photo.  I hope Cliff made it home OK.  Thanks to Jimbo for escorting him and missing the ride.  We started with 11 bikes and dropped to 9.  It got a little exciting on the trip home with weekend traffic rush on I94, but overall a great day of riding.  A nice cool day to wear leathers.  It's about time. . .

Yep, good ride.  A bit cool, but that never hurt anybody.  Good company, good roads and good food.

I too hope that Cliff made it home ok.  Sorry Jimbo and Cliff had to miss this one.
