From Lisa of the 404, Our LOS Becky (Munchkin) Has been in contact with Lisa and will update us more soon.

1.   We will be having a silent auction.  The auction items will be a theme basket and I'm asking each chapter to sponsor one.  I like this idea because only people who want to bid have to.  The funds will go toward the 2nd truck (or if we sell all the tickets for the bike raffle we can just donate the proceeds to FTC).  Possible themes are movie night (gift cards to block buster or maybe even movie tickets, popcorn and snacks, etc) another idea is a scrapbooking basket, or a winterizing your bike basket, or a car detailing basket, or a bar-b-que/grilling dinner basket.  I'm going to put our girls Kristen and Shelly in charge of our basket (which probably means it will be a 'night of romance' basket....lol

2. We will have yard games available- not sure what the weather will be like but I'm looking for people who have bocce ball or horse shoes they can bring to the picnic in case we have people who want to play

3.  Who has our chapter banner?  I am asking all the chapters to bring their banners and one to bring enough rope to hang all the banners in the pavilion.

4. I also need each chapter to bring an air pot of either hot chocolate or coffee.  Anyone have an air pot and a preference?
(I did not know they still made air pots)

I have to ask what is a air pot?  I'm not sure yet how many from Chapter 381 will be there yet.  Myself and Wendy for sure.  We've been picking up some toys for the kids also.

Hi Tin Man;
Both work for Steve He is full of hot are and gas, I guess that makes him a dirigible balloon. I am surprised that when he went down he didn't implode like the Hindenburg. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

This is an update from Cheryl of the 404 on the raffle tickets, as you can see some of the info i received was incorrect.

Good Evening Everyone

I hope this finds everyone warm, dry and healthy.  Here is the current statistics for the raffle tickets as of 4/25/10.  Attached to this email is also a pdf listing those who have tickets checked out.

Tickets:

Sold:  811  ($8,110.00) all money has been turned into the American Legion with the exception of $70.00 which I am holding on to until I get the ticket stubs, these were done on a pre-paid basis.

Checked Out:  585  ($5,850.00)  see attached pdf for details

Need to Sell:  1604 ($16,040.00)

Expenses:

Motorcycle:  $9000.00 this includes the bike, extended warranty, paint, powder coating etc., Joe stayed within the budget set by the 404

Gift Cards:  $750.00
Printing:  $450.00

Total Expenses:  $10,200.00

As you can see we are $2,090.00 away from having the expenses paid for.  Now for my request....

I have already posted the above information on the 404 website in the Chit chat area, could you please disseminate this information to your chapter members as I am trying to get our expenses paid off as quickly as possible.  I am asking for folks to contact me if they have tickets that have been sold so I can arrange a meeting point with them to pickup tickets and money.  My email address is jcschmitz@mchsi.com

Thank you all for your wonderful assistance and support on this project.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
