Haha...couldn't help it Alan!! Although, we decided to ride over to the Pisgah Mtn. Inn just SW of Asheville and ended up getting on a detour due to "possible" rockslides,,,ended up the day getting home at dark after 340 total miles. Dee rode her own again today and did VERY WELL on the Blue Ridge Parkway curves and even had one sharp switchback to negotiate. She's gotten about 750 miles in since she got her license three weeks ago!! I think she is liking riding, and in these mountains!! :-)
Actually,,,the weather turned cooler on us...we thought it would stay pretty warm through the day, but then when that sun started going down, it got down right cold!! It was about 55 when we got home, but that was with uninsulated jacket and long sleeves,,,and a north breeze!! :-)
Thank goodness no SNOW!!!
