Sorry to hear about the mishap, Jimbo.  Sure am glad you faired pretty well, considering.  I'll bet you will be sore for a few days.  Thank God you are basically all right.  Amazing how well the Raider faired in all of that too.

I had to cut the ride short myself, because of the Birthday celebration for my middle daughter.  I had a hard time keeping up with you guys though.  Had to fall to the rear.  Still trying to get used to the "Dog" and the handling on curves.  I guess I'm not as young as I thought.  But I would rather be slow and steady than fast and in trouble.  I always play it safe.

There was quite the crowd at Fury motors.  Good pancake breakfast too.  I guess 60 degree weather really brings people out in groves.  One thing about us motorcyclists, doesn't matter who you are, or what you ride, we all seem like friends at a gathering.

Rest up Jimbo, will see you at the meeting on Saturday.

Hi Jimbo;
OK that's enough of us 444 riders having problems. I was told things happen in threes so were done right group. Like Munchkin, I am also still on the mend the foot is still broken and with a 20 hour day I had to pull at a company in Cambridge it didn't help, what you going to do, need to bring in the money with Charm still down. I am glad that you didn't get hurt any worse Jim, to heck with the bike, that's what insurance is for. Get well my friend and I'll see you on the 13 Th.

Jimbo glad your ok. Last week for deer was not fun. On the way to work Thursday morning in my car coming down a rolling hill,by the time my lights lit up the dead deer in the middle of my lane all I could do was center my car on the deer and go over it. Some of my co-workers also had the same fun. Just a bath for the car.

Jimbo,

I'm glad you came out of that situation with nothing more than minor aches and pains.  It could have been a lot worse.  Sounds like you have a pretty tough bike too.  Sorry it took so long for us to notice you weren't at the back of the pack.  I guess we need to use our CB's more with a group as big as we had.  Just glad you're able to ride another day.

Hope everyone had a real fun time and got their twisty fix for the end of the season.  I had a GREAT time and appreciate the privilege of leading the group through some of my favorite Wisconsin back roads.  I credit everyone with kudos for keeping the the group tightly together for the entire ride and keeping the gas stops brief.  We even got to see some swans this year on Tell Lake (the lake next to Hwy 37).

Wow, Jimbo, what a crazy day.   :o  I'm glad you're OK.  I'm sure laying down the bike was the safest of the poor choices available, but a venison roast at the November meeting would have been tasty!  Rest up, and we'll see you on the 13th.
