Veterans Day
« on: November 10, 2011, 09:15:16 PM »
Thank you to all our veterans  today, and always.  Those of us who enjoy the freedoms we have owe much to all those to gave to provide and protect those freedoms. All gave some, some gave all. I for one will take a moment to give thanks to all, and remember those who gave all with a moment of silence.

Well, you beat me to it.

Let us all have a moment of silence for those G.I.'s that never made it home.

We can enjoy Veterans Day, because of our veterans.  God bless them all.

It has been an honor for me to get to know the veterans in the different Star riding groups. To young for Vietnam and not coming from any military family experiences, I was not exposed to the sacrifices that our military service members make to keep us free. I am grateful and believe our country would be even better served if each person (man and women) were to enlist in some branch of the military after high school. Many of my friends have sons in Afghanistan, I pray they make it home safely. Thank you all that have served this great country of ours and I look forward to seeing you at the next meeting.
