A good, productive meeting today with about 30 STARs (unofficial count) from all three metro chapters.  A couple new faces and a couple faces back with us - as always, all are welcome!

Hope to hear from those that went on to Fury; the ride led by Ken was great!  I'm pretty sure I hadn't been on that road SW of Scandia - it won't be my last time on it!  Kathy and I had to cut out early to get back by 3:00 pm or we would have stuck with you longer.  The G9's made the road comms work well, I think.  Thanks to our tail gunner Cliff as well.

I had time to drop by Fury before work and grab a free lunch.  Lots and lots of people there.  They had a live band and the food was great.  Would have liked to hang around a little longer to chit chat, but off to work I had to go.  Thanks to all that made the effort to attend the meeting today at Waldoch's.  Kind of cramped for space, but it worked out ok.  We thank John and his staff for letting us use what limited space there was.  Thanks to John also for donating that table for our STARBQ auction.  Really nice piece of work. 

Couldn't get a more beautiful weather day for any kind of ride.  Sounds like Ken led a good ride too.  See you all at the next Chapter event or gathering.  Until then, keep the rubber down and the paint up.

Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome at my first meeting.  I enjoyed the ride back into WI.  I also love the fact that such a diverse group of people can come together  learn from and enjoy each other despite the differences of age, sex, brand preference,  and riding style.  I look forward to being a member of this group. I also look forward to riding with everyone again very soon.  Thanks again and SAFE RIDING.
