AMVETS benefit ride
« on: September 16, 2014, 10:30:35 AM »
Received this via my email.... for those that might be interested.

Just a reminder of the last ride of the season for many of us, the AMVETS benefit ride in Ladysmith, WI on Saturday, 27 September.  Registration and a pancake breakfast at the Vacho-Lybert AMVETS Post 127 starts at 8:30 am, and the ride kicks off around 11.

This ride is to raise funds for a memorial in the Ladysmith cemetery for all Rusk County, WI fallen in wars from the Civil War through today.  The fall colors are usually spectacular for this ride, and Ladysmith is very supportive of this ride.

Location:
605 Summit Ave.
Ladysmith, WI

Pancake breakfast - $5
Ride registration - $10/per person
Meal and raffles - $8

Nope, sorry, can't get the time off as usual.  I just posted it for those that might be able to make it.  It sounded like a great ride and benefit.  Nothing going on on that Saturday in Sept, as of yet.  So feel free to show up and show your support.

We had another mechanic retire yesterday, so that makes it even more hard to get time off.  We are running short on qualified mechanics to take care of the 1.6 million square feet building.
