Experienced Rider Course

WHAT:  Experienced Rider Course
WHEN: Saturday, June 11th  8am to 1 pm  Rain or Shine
WHERE: Century College Range #2, White Bear Lake, MN
CLASS SIZE:  Max of 12 riders... Star members 292, 404, and 444; first come, first serve
COST: $25 to reserve a spot.  I believe we have dealer support to cover some of the cost so hope to be able to refund some $$$ .  I put down $300 to reserve the date so looking to cover some of that cost.  Normal course fee is $55

Your instructors for the day will be Tom Day and Bruce Mathews.

Please make sure you have your license, proof of insurance, and your protective gear (eye protection, long sleeves, full-fingered gloves,  over-the-ankle footwear, and DOT approved helmet).  Also be sure your bike is street legal... tire tread left on the tires, tabs, ect!

Please try to show up a little early to sign in and sign the waiver form!

Reminder for those of you attending...

- Motorcycles must be street legal, licensed, insured and pass a basic inspection
- Riders must show proof of insurance to the instructor
- Riders must have a valid driver's license with either a motorcycle endorsement or a valid motorcycle permit
- Riders MUST wear:
•DOT-approved helmet.
•Eye protection.
•Long sleeves.
•Long pants.
•Full-fingered gloves.
•Over-the-ankle footwear

I just wanted to say thanks to Sparks (Mark) for arranging this safety course for us.  Had a good lesson on handling the bike from a safety aspect.  Reinforced somethings and learn a couple of new ones.  We had eleven riders.  You could call this group the STAR class.  Glad to see the women ride so well too.  Good for them.  Turns out the cool day was a blessing because if it was a hot one, we surely would have roosted on the idling engines most of the time.  The two instructors were excellent. 

To anyone, in the future, if you have the opportunity to take this course, I would recommend that you do.

Mark - Thanks SO much for putting together the ERC yesterday. We had a great time & lunch at Donatellis (White Bear Lake) afterwards was alot of fun!
