2011 Schnitzel Run with 404

This was taken from the 404 site.  I urge all parties to attend this, it is a great ride and eats.  Make sure you let him know in advance if you are going, so there will be enough food for all.  The weather, at this point looks great. Thanks.  



Anybody interested in some big Schnitzel, real Kraut, and German Potato Salad, besides me?

You guys know I'm always up for it!  

Let me know if you want to go on Saturday, September 24.

If you want to go, here is the plan:

Meeting point: Farmington American Legion, right on CR 3 at 8:00am, kickstands up at 8:15am
You can fill your tank at the KwikTrip on Hwy 50 as you go through town.

Its about 185 miles to Houston on a leisurely ride, mostly back roads, and it will take us about 4 hours.
We'll have a couple stops to pick up gas and do the other thing on our way down there.

After the Schnitzel/German Potato Salad/Sauerkraut/Red Cabbage Break at Rosemarie's place (however long this may take)
we'll head comfortably back through bluff county and along to River to Hastings. That's another 140 miles.

We'll be riding all Saturday and at this point I hope for nice riding conditions.

Please let me know if you are planning to come along until Thursday, September 22, so I can call Rosemarie and let her know how many Schnitzels to run for us.

PS: Don't eat breakfast on Saturday or you'll regret it later! Been there, done that!

After I posted on the 404 forum, I noticed that Ranger had already spoke on your behalf.  Oh well, better late than never.  Have a good ride and don't eat toooooooooo much.

It started out a little chilly but turned into a great day, great friends awesome schnitzel and a great ride lead by Wolfie, super day 19 bikes from 404, 292 and 444, for me from home to Huston to home 409 miles,  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
