LAUGHLIN RIVER RUN STAR BREAKFAST
COME TO THE EVENT WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
This year marks our 16th anniversary of the Laughlin STAR Breakfast and we’re
welcoming all of our members to come out and be part of STAR’s continued
history. The Laughlin event was host to our first “gathering of STARs†in 1997, and
many great ideas took root there including the planning of our organization’s first
STAR B-Q and multi Chapter rides! If you’re hungry for the latest information
about STAR, this is the place to be! Key note speeches during past breakfasts
have included our unveiling of STAR Vets and the STAR Family Foundation just to
name a few.
The host hotel was called the Flamingo back 1997, and over the years it’s changed
hands and become known as the Aquarius hotel; the changes just keep
coming! One of these changes, instituted by the Aquarius, is a no colors policy that
prohibits the wearing of any clothing item that contains the logo or patches of any
motorcycle association or club while on the hotel’s Property.
We understand the hotel’s reasoning behind this policy and ask our members to
cooperate with their request. Besides, we know who we are and we’re going to
have a fun time anyway! Everyone in attendance will receive a door prize ticket for
items that will be given away during the breakfast including one that’s valued at
$700.00! Wouldn’t you like to be the lucky one that wins that?
As in the past, Star Motorcycles has stepped up and covered the balance of the
costs associated with the breakfast, which means we only have to pay $8.00!
Our thanks to Star Motorcycles for their kind support for this and past years
events, obviously they like to have fun too!
