Jane, have your bike checked out or buy a new battery, we are getting too old for push starts.   

Overall, not withstanding the bike troubles, it was a great ride.  A big surprise to see so many bikes show up (14).  I hope everyone had a "Fun" time.  That is what it is all about.

Well it was a good ride for most Thanks for the help and the escort home. I got the bike in the shop today and was told I should know what the problem is by Friday. I will keep you all posted as soon as I learn anything. Rich and Jerry thanks for your support and Thanks Jimbo for sticking it out with me. I love your rides Chappy and I hope I don't miss any other ones.

As far as my little issue, the bike has been running fine since the ride.  This is my story and i'm sticking to it:
When we pulled into the parking lot to wait, I pulled up next to my friend Anne and noticed it was down hill so I was explaining to her (because she is such a new rider) how sometimes down hill, i'll just hit the kill switch and leave it in first gear to prevent it from possibly rolling forward.  I believe I may have forgotten to shut off the ignition.    I'm sorry I did something so dumb and made the "old farts" (as Pat reminded me) push my bike. LOL  I really and truely appreciate it though!!!  SORRY
