November meeting idea?

I'm looking for someone to step up to the plate and host our November meeting at their house.  This would be a pot luck type of meeting as well.  The riding season will be over by November, so why not get together and visit with our friends and eat. 

This November meeting will also be our officer nominations meeting.  So get to thinking about who you want to represent us in our Chapter as President and Vice President.

Hi everyone. Bear and I would like to host the November meeting at our home. I don't think Bear will have begun hibernation yet and I may not be flying south for the winter. Saturday Nov. 16th works for us and we were thinking a start time of 5pm for the meeting with potluck dinner following. Our address is 320 Lady Slipper Lane in Vadnais Heights not far from Tousley. Hoping for a great turnout. Any questions-let us know.

That is nice of you two to host the November meeting.  Keep in mind, if I can't get that Saturday night off, someone would have to preside over the nomination process for our new officers to be.  Either our Vice President, Sargent at Arms or our Secretary, or Treasurer.  But it must be done. 

If there are no objections, let me know in an email and I will post it officially on the calendar.  Thanks again.

I think the majority would rather have it in the evening, so that most can attend.  But thanks.  We will discuss it at our meeting this Saturday.

Wendy and I will not be able to make it.  It seems every meeting has been on days and times we, or even just me, are not available.  October meeting, I have an seminar for continuing Ed for my working credentials.  FOr the November meeting, we are hosting a party that night at the Water Street Inn for Wendy's 50th Birthday.

The meeting will be at our home at 5:00 on the 16th. This is a pot luck so bring something good to eat. Also it could be fun for people to bring some photos in albums or slide shows of their motorcycle adventures for others to see. It will be the day after Bob's birthday so if anyone has any good Bob stories to tell this would be a good time to do it.
