We were a bit late and missed the scenic ride - had way too much bumper to bumper instead.  At any rate, thanks Duane and Deb for introducing us to the great chicken at the Brass Rail.  A very good meal with great friends!  I put the bike away with just a few over 400 miles for the day!  Time to sleep ...

Gee, I got the impression :-[ last night that my navigation skills ::) were in question ??? regarding my "shortcut" back from Iowa. :P  Just take a look at my GPS route on the Gallery.  It still makes sense to me ...

Now I just have to make an optometrist appointment for Kathy; the persistent rolling her eyes ::) seems to be getting worse!

I do think the group would enjoy this ride, but I think it would make for long ride for my first ride "up front."  Since it is about 45 miles (about an hour and a quarter) southeast of Arcadia, I'm tempted to suggest it as a possible add on for the Hansons Holdup ride.  But I know that Ken has some great roads already mapped out and his rides never disappoint.  Let me think about it.

Hi Chappy;
I'm a little late due to work issues but, thanks' for the great ride and the chicken was a great end to a nice ride. I'm glad that Dan was along for part of my ride back I found out that at 65 mph i am over driving the stock headlight. That Raider is so fast that at 3/4 throttle i was catching my light, so i guess I was going light speed. Now to clean the bugs off. thanks' again chappy.
