The kids got a last minute invite to join a bunch of their classmates for a picnic.  Needless to say, playing with their friends trumps motorcycle riding.  So, Jessi's taking the kids to the picnic.  Which means I'm free to join ya'll for the whole ride!!!!

Thank you all for going today I had a good time doing it. With the exception with not seeing the differance from green and gold, weather cut our ride short. Any ride is always better than the best day at work. We will try and find another time to do the whole ride, and may put some new roads in to it.

Rich (Diesel)  & GW, had a great day with good friends sorry the ride was cut short by the weather as I know how much you two put into this ride but I must say great planning and great route I loved the direction page with the map on the back it was an awesome hand out, 210 miles when I got home. also still had a little taste of diesel in the mouth when I got home  It was a good turn out 9 bikes and 13 members, we missed those of you that could not make it.

Another great day, even though it was cut short.  The roads on the part we finished were outstanding, especially the ones up to Watertown.  I'm sure the rest would have been just as good, and I'm looking forward to finishing it some time.   
In addition to the patent pending raider reserve helmet, we'll have to design one for Rich that's labeled "Not Diesel"    
Oh, and I found a patch...

Rich and Glenda, thanks for your efforts in this ride.  Sometimes the weather just cuts things a little short.  Oh well, good ride anyway.  I trust everyone made it back safe and sound.  Tom, hope you had a good time, glad you could make it. 

That Diesel moment won't be forgotten, but at least you were in the company of friends.  And guess what, you won't ever do that again. 

Jimbo, I counted 11 bikes.  Oh well, some things just don't add up in our old age.  You guys have a very safe trip to Canada.  Take some pictures and share with us when you get back. 

Ken, have a good trip to AK.  Keep that three wheeler, rubber down.  Oh yea, don't forget to have fun.
