As Eagle Bob stated, we had a good ride.  I decided to meet Cliff at Century and then we went down to the Hwy 61 and Hwy 10 meet area and there were four bikes and five people.  We headed down to Nelson to eat lunch and ended up in Wabasha and eating at Slippery's.  Nice place to eat on the river.

Wish all could have come, we only caught a sprinkle or two on the way back up Hwy 61.  Bob McClean and Liz went riding by themselves after lunch.  Missed a nice day people.....

OH well I think this was the first for me missing a ride, but all my gear was still wet anyway and I did some much needed yard work and spent some time with my Grandaughter, Thanks Cliff for taking those that did show up on a ride, and glad to hear all of you had a good time and didn't run into anything like me and Steve did yesterday,  ;D ;D ;D

I'm glad  :) people had a good day of riding; we considered riding as well.  I imagine its a tough call to make with others' safety in mind.  We just rode back from Wisconsin on Tuesday (about 240 miles taking 6 hours) almost all in the rain, and I know Ken did his preride in the rain.  But its another matter making the call for a larger group watching a nasty looking :o radar page.  July needs another ride anyway; even with Star Days.

Waldoch had a ride scheduled today as well.  When I saw this ride was cancelled, I went to Waldoch's.  We went to Taylors Falls on a back road I hadn't been on before from Center City and had a buffet breakfast.  Then went through St. Croix Falls and along East River Road up to Grantsburg.  Nice Road.  I'll take a ride there some day.  Cool and cloudy for the whole trip, but nice to get out.  I think all you Raider riders ought to ride with this group.  You would feel like you were riding high mpg bikes for a change.  There were three VMax's.  That makes a little different ride.   ;) ;) ;)

To all.

Bob and I went with the group  and ended up at Slipperlys( how ever you spell that) and split off from the rest and heled for home took HWY 60 out and all the old roads  back to our place.

No rain.. did stop to put on our rain gear as we meet a rider that told us rain was comming but no rain at all got  home about 4.

Sounds like all had a good time.
