Good Pic's Nicki and it was nice to meet some of your family. Good planning Munchkin to get this together, we should do some more of these. Good turn out and good people and a great chapter what could be better on a Saturday in December. Just a few more weeks till NASCAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again Jimbo for the 3+ years of doing us proud. Now it is Corn Dogs turn for 3+ years. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I know well that it takes a committed person to run a chapter and the prez's we had and the one we just elected sure were committed or should be. ;D ;D 8) 8) ;) ;) You didn't think you were going to get off without some of my humor did you guys. Like I said before I crack me up.
Have a Merry Christmas Everyone

Good pictures Tulip, thanks.

Again, I did want to thank everyone for voting for Chappy and me to watch over our Chapter.  We will try and do the best job we can.  We will always remember to do two things after our official duties....

Have fun and ride motorcycles.

That is really what this is all about.  Jimbo was right about a lot of things, but most importantly, the friendships that we take from this Chapter.  I lost a very close group of friends when we went on strike against NWA years ago, but I now have found a new group of friends who I can relate to and cherish the camaraderie with, all year long.  It means a lot to me.  Bottom line, I enjoy being around you people.

Thanks for the members of 292, 404 for attending this meeting/party.  Thanks to Tousley for letting us use their room and thanks to them also for the generous gift certificates.

The day was topped off with attending my youngest daughters graduation from the U of W.  Very proud moment in my life when my little girls grow up and graduate from college.  Had a nice dinner at Boca's and now I think I need a nap.

Thanks again for a very special day.

I just wanted to say thank you as well.  I'm very happy to serve along side Pat this year.  And by the way, anyone who thinks travelling like Lucky and me is glamorous, you can have it.  The taxi picked me up at 12:30 yesterday to go to the airport.
when I got there, my flight to Paris was cancelled.  My colleague that was supposed to go with me never got a flight that would get him there in time.  I managed to get one that opened up while they were searching.  It went through Amsterdam to Paris.  When I got to Amsterdam, the flight to Paris was cancelled.  Standing in a couple of 2 hour lines, and I ended up with a train ticket to Paris.  However, I have no luggage and have a meeting tomorrow morning at 8:30am.  The train was also delayed.  I am still on the train about 30 minutes from Paris.  When I get there, I take the subway to a few blocks from my hotel and walk.  I have now been travelling for nearly 26 hours.  Think about it, I have literally been on the go since I said goodbye yesterday.  I'm bushed.

Amen Chappy;
If i do go the first week of January to Korea with the flight and layovers between it will be about 19 hours of nonstop fun then I get to work in an environment that really stretches a persons calm. Add to that just lovely food, no entertainment, and everything on the few channels that work are Korean with subtitles, but hey were employed. ;) ;) Have a safe trip Chappy and don't take any wooden nickles. ;) ;) ;)

Thanks, guys,

Not much better yet, still no suitcase.  I'm in La Rochelle now on the east coast of France.  Went shopping tonight for some clean clothes. . . ugh! ! !  It's been 51 hours since I left home, only 6 hours of sleep and a brief nap on the flight to Amsterdam.

After my meeting this morning, I took the subway to the other side of Paris and barely made the 12:15 train to La Rochelle, had a certificate for a meal (3 hr ride), logistics issues due to weather, no food on the train.  I keep looking over my shoulder to see if John Candy is following me (Trains, Planes, and Automobiles movie for those that don't get that).

What a mess.......

My wife laughed after reading your reference to John Candy.  Perfect.
