Galena, IL Overnight Weekend Trip

If anyone is interested, we brought back some magazines about Galena when we were there.  Let Duane know and he will somehow get them to you.

To those of you who are going, you will have a great time.  The roads are beautiful.  The town is fun.  The View Motel is really fun.  Andy, our host, is a riot.  He has given the motel ambience that I've never experienced.  It's a great time for everyone.  Plenty of 'drink' to be had.  The restaurant that is catering the food is excellent. 

Can't wait to see you all there!

Just to let you guys know, it looks like Ted and I are the only two from 423 that can make it.  This means we will share a room freeing a non-smoking room for someone else.

You gave that room up to Cindy (read back a few entries).  Seriously, though, if you take a smoking room and it does not meet your standards, Debbie and I will switch rooms with you.  Remember to send me the phone number you want the motel to call you for your credit card if you decide to take one of those rooms.  Your wife has another option if you don't mind riding "two up".  She can drive the car down and ride with you.

Chappy am I on the list for a room of sometype? I took Robin on a training ride yesterday we were out all day and put in 225 miles she did great so she is ready to go. We also would like to do the meals.

Robin did an excellent job on Sunday.  Butt time in the saddle is all it takes to feel comfortable and confident at it.
