Fall Color Ride with Ole

I would like to do this ride around the middle of October. It will be very similar to the last ride up north but a little shorter do to the day light hours being shorter. I will post more later as I get a rout put together.

Saturday, October 8th,  see below...  

Change of plans, sorry to hear about your friend Cliff.  

Well I have some bad news I will not be able to ride this weekend as a Friend has passed on and the service is Saturday.     If any of you would like to lead this ride I would be greatfull for your help.  Sorry about this but life is short and and I need to say good by to a special person in my life.  Just a note Leather and Lace is having their ride this weekend? What ever you do be safe see you soon.

Dan has offered to lead this ride, see below:

Dan is willing to lead the ride on Saturday, destination Hayward. We would like to meet at the DQ in Osceola(corner of WI35 and WI243) at 9AM, kickstands up at 9:30. We road some of the roads last weekend that Cliff was planning on taking.(beautiful!) Kind of a pre-ride i guess. Hope to see you on Saturday!

Here is a much better direction discription...

Take 95 North along the river (goes through Stillwater towards Taylor's Falls) turn right at sign that points to Osceola (243) follow this across bridge to stop light, the DQ is on the right.

Cliff, if you are planning on going up towards Hayward i found a website with maps of the fall color tours. There are six but only #2 and #5 don't have gravel. The site is haywardlakes.com, click "about us", then "maps". In looking at them #2 is almost the same one we rode this spring with one little change.

Well the time is just flying by and I have many things to do this fall. ::) :P I am now working for a new company and am not sure about what days I will be able to get away this fall. ??? I would like to do this ride on Saturday Oct. 8Th and it will be a follow the leader ride. ;D ;D :o :o ;) I plan on taking many of the same roads we did this spring. ;D If you are all OK with this I would like to start off at Tousley Motorsports at 9:00 A.M. and stop along the way for lunch around noon. I am hoping the trees will still be in full color and the wet stuff stays away. But if it looks like a wet day I will postpone it for a week.  :'( Thanks for putting the maps out for me to look at this helped a lot and I see some fun roads to ride. So if you would just like to follow old Ole around for the day and have some fun I will see yo on the 8Th of Oct. 8) ::) :-* :D ;) :)

Cliff, I'm in.  I just happen to be off Saturday the 8th of October.  If the weather holds up, away we shall go to see the fall colors.   8) 8) 8) 8)

Congrats on getting in with a new company, we only wish the best for you and that this will be an improvement from the old company.  Stressful starting at a new company, so just hang in there, it will get better each day. 

Alan, could you post his info on the Calendar for the 8th of October?  Thanks.  I am at work and I should get off the computer before I start to look for a new job.   :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Congrats on the new job Ole! We like to join you on this ride, however the 8Th is my first Sat to work OT, I wish you all a fun and safe ride!

kathy and i went on a ride this weekend up to hayward we found some new roads and it was a great ride. we are in !
