Well, what a great day for a ride.  The air was cool and the sun was warm, no wind.  It doesn't get any better than that.  To those that rode home with me - sorry about the Lake City thing.  I stayed in the left lane because I thought the right lane ended with a turn lane, not the left.  And there was no warning sign unless I missed it.  I hate when that happens.

Tom and Anne - Thanks for coming out today,  Tom - I hope you had a safe ride home and hope your back gets better.

Christopher and Jenny - Thanks for joining us today.  You took on quite a challenge with one of our longest rides of the year for your first Group ride.  I hope you enjoyed it.  Hope to see you again.  If you want to meet more of the folks, we have our Chapter meeting this coming Saturday at 11:00, Tousley Motorsports.

Pat and Jerry - Sorry about not stopping for gas in Red Wing.  I thought everyone topped off in Fountain City.

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm tired.  Thanks to everyone who came on the ride.  There were 15 bikes and 18 people that started the ride.

Chappy glad that you all had a good ride. Cindy and I got tided up with home repairs and did not make it down for lunch. I got the call that my bike is done about 4:00 P.M. so I will be picking it up on Monday. New rear seals bearings and rear tire and I got the For ways working again after the corrosion was cleaned off the connectors from riding in the rain. I guess riding in the rain is not good for your bike? Who knew!!!! Look forward to riding with you all again soon.

We made it home safe. Stopped in Red Wing for lunch at Randy's-great chicken!  It would be a good place for a future lunch stop.  Tom and Anne

It was a marvelous day for a ride!  The day's route was a perfect example of why we ride motorcycles.  Thank you Chappy and Alan, for your pre-ride work and for the high caliber leading/tail gunning today.  We had a wonderful time!

Had a great time, and just for the "geeky" folks, we ended up doing 273 GPS miles (home to home) for us - the bikes odo is always a little different.

It was a great day with many shining faces - shining STARs! ;D  My copilot counted one more bike, Chappy - 16 bikes with three riding two-up for 19 people.  You guys all looked great from the back of the pack as we wound around the back country valleys and ridge tops.  Hansens is always a great destination and Duane led a great ride - thanks to all for a great day of riding! :) ;D 8)

I will ditto all of those comments too.  Great ride, people, food, weather and above all, we had fun.  Alan, good job as tail gunner.  You can add that to your resume too.

Yes, my butt is sore.  But, the dog had a good walk anyway.  Not as comfortable as the Raider, but still fun to ride.   ;D

Christopher and Jenny, get your email address to our webmaster and he will fix you up.  (nice Raider)  8)

Jimbo, our sympathies to Deb and hope she will be feeling better very soon.

Hope to see everybody this Saturday at the meeting.

Jen and I would like to sincerely say Thank you to everyone on the ride.  We had a great time and have to say, what a great group you have!  Jen's favorite stop was the creamery (and wants to go back for the wine and cheese now), and I really enjoyed the route Chappy led us on.  I hope I we did ok as Newbie-Group riders, as it was a little different then riding solo (which is all I've done till now for the past 20 years).

I am planning on going to the August 25th meeting and hope to see some familiar faces from the ride. :)

Sorry for leaving you all early but I had a family dinner thing I needed to get to.  Barely got there on time as it was.

Chappy what a great ride.  I'm still trying to figure out how you guys come up with them.  Guess I need to get one of those high tech GPS things like Elle has so I can find them again.

Jen and Christopher, glad you could join.  If you need any help getting settled in our little group let me know.  As one of the Chapter Shepherds it my job to help you get us figured out.  I'll be at the meeting on Saturday is you'd like to chat.

Pat The Dog looks great but you really need to do something about that seat.

Sounds like you all had a great ride sorry that I missed it. I have not made a group ride in the last month. I will try to do better.

Robin and I had a great time in IA the Victory people put on a very nice event bands both nights fireworks and a lot of venders.

Just like coming home from Reno I got lost again and ended up in SD now we can color that sate in too.

Chappy they had a nonvictory category in the bike show you could put the Indian Star in and win another bike show.

See you all Saturday.
