For those who missed out on STAR Days in Reno, like me  :'( :'( :'(, Debbie and I are going to soothe our wounds by running down to Galena for a weekend.  This wasn't to be a planned event, but if anyone felt like making the the run down there, your welcome to join us.  We're leaving Friday morning an returning Sunday afternoon.  I don't know how many rooms are left at The View Motel, but you're welcome to call.  815-858-2205

Let me know if yu're going and if you want to ride down with us.  I'll be preriding part of the Hansen's Hold Up route that I haven't been on before on the way down.

Sure wish we could join you but we're "boxed in" with conflicts on Friday and Monday so we can't make a three day weekend.  Enjoy the miles and the weekend! :) :)

I think that would be me. Doug left Tues morning, with my daughter, Katee for South Dakota. He planned to go with a buddy, but the guy cancelled at last minute. Since I wasn't going on the "guys" trip to South Dakota, it was too difficult to find a last minute dog sitter for our 2 dogs.
Katee took my camera, so I'm excited to see the pictures she takes.

Oops, this topic is getting a little off topic - and sorry, that's completely my fault.  We'll get those lights back on shortly and have our "good night John Boys" later. :)      ::flipping switch::

I don't think anyone else is going.  There are no planned rides apart from Debbie and I just relaxing for the weekend.  She has a shopping mission at the leather jacket store down there.  We haven't really planned a departure time other than mid morning from our house near 35W and Hwy 10.  You can call me on my cell phone 651-280-8915.
