Patch placement question

Everything I have read says to put the patch over the left shoulder (in front).  I have a US Flag there.  Can I put the Star patch under the US Flag?  I have attached a photo of the Star patch placed under the Flag.  It is not attached.

Jane I spoke with Jimbo and as long as the star patch is placed where star wants it you can place the US Flag above it. Fyi below the star patch is for star rockers.
