OK everyone. . .

With all my travels, I forgot that I have to submit everyones phone number to the View Motel so they can call everyone for a credit card to hold the rooms.  Please email me with your phone numbers at duaneolson77@gmail.com ASAP.  I leave for vacation on Friday, will stop home on Thursday for one day and return up north until Sunday the 19th.  I leave for China on the 20th and return home on Sunday June 9th.  I need to get this done next week.

Pat or Jimbo - can you put this on the agenda to remind everyone who's going to send me their phone numbers?

OK. . . I'm sending the list of people (as shown on the first entry) to Andy at the View Motel.  He will be calling by the end of the month to get credit card information to hold the rooms.  Debbie and I plan on leaving sometime Friday morning and taking a leisurely ride to Galena.  I will post the departure location and time as we get closer to the 28th for anyone that wants to ride with us.

Anne Thompson and I have both decided to pass on this trip.  We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable ride.  Maybe next time Anne and I will be able to ride with.

We are getting close to the Galena weekend.  Debbie and I are planning on a Friday morning departure with a modestly scenic route to Galena.  We can meet at the Super America on County Rd E and 35E around 9:00am with kickstands up at 9:30am.  I'd like to arrive at the motel between 5:00 and 6:00.  Please respond and let me know if you plan on riding with us.  Alan - give me a call if you want to meet up with us on the way instead of riding north to go south.

There is plenty of room if anyone else wants to go.

Chappy, if you don't mind pulling into the overlook park in Prescott (Monroe St.), I can meet you there.  Leaving at 9:30, it looks like you'll get there about 10:30; I'll be there by 10am.

I fixed the route to include Houston.  Go ahead and check on the Snitzel for lunch.  I also modified the route down the Great River Rd instead of through La Crosse.  I haven't been on that road and it looks like fun.  I hope we don't get lost too many times.   :

I just spoke with Ted up in St. Cloud.  His group is going to join us at the SA for the 9:30 departure.

Bear - Make sure if the Schnitzel is a go, we need food for 8 people.

Staying on MN-76 south from Houston to Caledonia is really nice ...

OK, I spoke to Charlie down at Charlie's Place in Hanover.  He will provide a catered dinner at 6:30 Saturday evening.  Chicken, ribs, potato salad, and baked beans, etc.  The cost will be $15 each.  We should also pick up the cost for Andy and Joyce like we did last year.  However, there are half as many of us this year, so it will add $4 per person.  Figure $19 plus tip - cash will be collected at dinner.
