Here is more detail on the 1st Annual Vice President's Ride:

It sounds as though the meeting will be not last long.  Far to many people are wanting to ride, due to the weather we have been experiencing.  We are also planning on having members from our southern contingency, Chapter 475. With this in mind here is the plan as of right now:

Depart Tousley, following the meeting, and make a stop for a quick lunch at:

Jimmy's Food & Drink
1132 County Road E East
Vadnais Heights, MN 55110-5122

We will depart from Jimmy's and have a ride that will take us to Jordan, MN.  This will allow our members from Chapter 475 to be closer to home.  Also, there has been a lot of requests that we have rides in the west metro.  Well, here is your chance.  I will pre-ride the route prior to our event.

I am requesting that we have a large turn out for a couple of reasons:

Our 1st Annual Vice president's Ride
Our first ride with Chapter 475
Our commitment to expand our rides to the western metro
and...well....another GREAT Star Touring Ride

Here is the status of the ride tomorrow.  Due to the Sucky weathermen, we are playing this by ear.  Please watch your forum.  I will post a final decision tomorrow morning about this ride.  As it sits right now, the ride is on.  By 9am tomorrow there will be an updated post concerning this ride.  I am reluctant to reschedule the ride.  But, safety is the utmost importance.

More to follow!!

Sound like the rain is going to hold off and just be cloudy all day.  What time is the the meeting? I up for it.

Well, I believe the weather is going to hold to just cloudy.  With this in mind, the ride is ON.  We will probably change the route and we can talk about that at the meeting.  See everyone there!!

Wear something warm and let's ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!  8) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hope to see a large turnout for the "meeting" and the ride.  See you all at Tousley's.  The rain is well south of us in Iowa, and moving East.

Thank you to all that attended the meeting and the ride.  While not perfect, it was my first led ride and I will relish in that fact!  It was fun to meet the members of 475 that endured the ride up to the cities and out of the fields!  I look forward to many more rides!!

I know I complain a lot, Jimbo says I do anyway.  But, it was a little cool and the sun could have been out, but overall, it was good to get our "knees in the breeze". At least we stayed dry.  Thanks Jimbo for the good meeting and thanks Patrick for leading the ride.

Yes, it was nice to see the members of 475, it has been a long time since we last saw them.
