Rafting eating and riding
« on: March 11, 2013, 10:07:45 AM »
You will get wet on this ride.

I plan to lead up to Superior Whitewater Rafting just south of Duluth. This is something everone can do it is not something that will kill you. I took a group of boy scouts on this several years ago. This is open to anyone who wants to go your kids would have fun at this also.

We will need to leave early to get up to the rafting place by 9:30. The rafting leaves at 10 and takes about 2:30 hours. We will then be heading over to Gordy's tophat dinner that was on Dinners Driveins and Dives. They are known for their burgers and malts.

After lunch we will take a more scenic ride back home.

The rafting is only $40 and they provide wet suits if the water is cold. You will need to bring a change of clothes with you.

I will need to hold so places for us so post if you think you are going.

The date is June 8th

Can't remember the date, but count me in if I can get off work.  (if it is on a Saturday of course)

Also, I think you mentioned if some people want to ride up and not go rafting, they can ride over to the eating place and meet the rest there after the rafting.  Or they can just sit around and soak up the sun.  Just an option.

Although I previously stated that we would participate in the event, we most re-cant.  I have a training that Friday, and Saturday that will prevent us from attending.  Sorry!  It is going to be a fun event that we will be missing!!!
