Hope to see a good turn out for this Saturday meeting. Remember, Century will be having their "Open House" on that same day. Also, received this information from the PAL director.
Our Motorcycle Traffic cops are not able to attend the meeting this weekend. They have All just been reassigned and rarely do any of them get Saturdays off after March. We will have Officer Kou Vang there to get any more of your members registered and he will also have t-shirts with him.
FYI- some folks were concerned about the passenger getting a t-shirt this year. Just so everyone understands, last year we did not give out motorcycle shirts. We gave out the white PAL t-shirts to riders, but passengers only got the banquet, not a t-shirt. The motorcycle long sleeve shirt had to be purchased last year. This year there is no banquet and everyone who pays gets a t-shirt, (riders as well as passenger. Hopefully that clears up the confusion.
Also, after May 15, 2013, the registration price will go up to $50.00 and a t-shirt size will not be guaranteed. The raffle will be held at the last stop, which is a hospitality room at the Grand Inn Casino. This will be sponsored by the, FOP, (Fraternal Order of Police Officers). They will have snacks, as well as beverages there from 3:00-7:00 pm. That way for folks going back to the Twin Cities, you can at least rest a bit before you return.
Also, remember that 404 is holding their brat sale and Jane will lead you all to that event after our meeting. (If she gets her bike fixed in time).
