444 August meeting

Where:  My house  (10824 Dale Rd, Woodbury, MN)
Time:  3pm

Hoping the weather holds true, looks like a nice day.  Meeting and gathering will be over in time for everybody to travel home in the light.  We will finalize what is needed for the STARBQ and have our regular meeting agenda and of course some fun.  We will supply all food and drink, so no need to haul anything on your bikes except yourselves.  

Of course if you want to bring something, be my guest.  

(Be advised, if you plan on coming down via Woodbury Drive, that is all torn up. Radio Drive is open though.)

I will try to make the meeting mostly to make sure all STAR BQ needs are covered and free food is never to be turned down .

Pat I will try and make it to this meeting I just printed off the Auction bid sheets and I need to know if I should be picking things up from members for the Auction or does someone have them? I will bring the car to the meeting to take any items that come in. Talk to you soon.

Cliff, I have many of the auction items, some folk have indicated they will be bringing stuff directly to the event, but I encourage all to contact me of Cliff to make sure the items are on site in timely fashion.  Cliff, do your auction sheets indicate payment only be cash or check?

Robin and I will be in Spirt Lake that weekend have a great cook out and meeting.

We will not be able to make the meeting. We can't be in three places at once. We were to leave for Glendalogh State Park & now Glenda's Family are having send off party for our favorite niece. Sorry family wins before we leave. I will send my report to Pat, Glenda asks that someone take notes and send to her so she can do the meeting minutes. I made the addition to our BBQ t-shirt order. The shirts will be done on the 19th of Aug.

I did not see that the meeting is on Sunday we may be back from IA by then we will try to make it.

Kathy and I will be in Missouri at the family lake cabin for the week.  We'll be back the Friday of the SBQ.

I do have a couple of DVDs for the auction that I will try to get to someone before we leave.

Missouri has been hammered recently with a lot of rain but next week looks dry and in the mid 80's.  This trip will be in the cage but I'm hoping to take the bike down in September for their Bikefest.

Wanted to thank all those that attended the meeting and to those that didn't or couldn't, you missed some good food and weather under the big shady oaks.

Thanks for having us out Pat it was very nice.

On the way home Robin and I saw about 10 bikes off the side of the road at 36 and century. There were police cars and an ambulance. I don't know what happened but it could not have been good.
