2014 Memorial Day Ride
« on: February 19, 2014, 09:06:11 AM »
As your Vets Rep, I have planned the 2014 Memorial Day ride this year.  I have planned something different this year and I think all will enjoy.  It is a combination Memorial/Veterans Day ride, since the weather usually doesn't cooperate for a late November (Veterans Day) ride.

When:  May 25 (Sunday)
Time:  9:00am
Place to start:  The "Point"
Trip:  We will be visiting and taking a tour of the Veterans Home in Hastings to see first hand how our veterans are taken care of. Then we will head down to Winona to visit the Veterans Memorial Park for a reading of something recognizing our Veterans and for a group picture in front of the Memorial.  Then, we will be eating lunch at the Acoustic Cafe in Winona.

As always, any other chapter members and their guests are invited.

Even though this snow is piled so high I can't see the road anymore, it will all be gone as soon as we have a couple of days in the 60's.   ;D ;D ;D ;D
