We set a departure time and meeting place today at the Broken Toe Rodeo.  We will leave:

10:30 on Sunday the 20th
House of Coates on east side of Hiway 52 just north of County 46.
There's gas there and the plan is to ride down 52 well into Iowa.

See you there.

Looks like it is not far from the Embassy Suites, might be doable for Monday or Tuesday dinner.

We took US Hwy 61 from home to Dubuque (then detouring to the National Motorcycle Museum). We took IA 64 to pick up US 61 again on our way to LeClaire. The scenery was beautiful and the weather could not have been better.

I'm not sure when most MN will arrive in the St. Charles area - I know the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, IA is a stop for many (yesterday, Sunday, or Monday).  In case anyone makes it to St. Charles for Sunday dinner, many STAR members are gathering at the Home Town Buffet in Bridgeport.  This invitaion was posted on the national STAR site.  If Sunday doesn't work, this may be a good stop later in the week.

Just wanted to say Howdy, before we embark on the latest STAR Days ride.  Wish that all of our members could go.  We hope we are dry the whole time (yea right).  Well, at least the bike is clean when we leave on Sunday morning.  Wish us luck.
