We will absolutely stop for a quick picture by each Rustic Road sign - that's part of the fun!  All ya need are ten roads with pictures and ya get a new patch to sew on!  I've heard no opposition to a planned stop on Sunday the 14th in Galesburg, IL.  I'm guessing that you may get lucky and not need a reservation on a Sunday night but after roughly 390 miles, you might like to know where your pillow will be.  My pillow will be another 75 miles further down the road. I can pick out a hotel for y'all but you might just wanna take a look here.

Pappa, nope.  But I found an old one that will work. 

Ted and Judy,  We will stop anytime somebody wants to stop.  If we hit a motel area early enough, should be no problem finding a room.

I suggest we stay at the Best Western Prairie Inn in Galesburg and that we make reservations.  I say this because it's right off of I74 and has food onsite.

I'm just along for the ride, if you want to make group reservations at a motel, I'm okay with that.

Make the reservations, we can always cancel 24 hrs ahead if need be.

Robin and I just got home about 3:30 spent last night at The View Andy and Joice were very happy to see us and want us to bring the group down this fall.

We had a great time and thank you to Alan for finding great roads for us to ride.

Robin and I toured 2 Bourbon distilleries and toured Church Hill Downs fun trip.

Yes this was a great trip. Could have done without the rain today though.

Shout out to Ted, Judy and Keith.  This was their first long ride and all three showed us what they are made of:  2,100+ miles in 7 days, a 542 mile single day and plenty of rain and wet roads on the last leg home today.

Glad I had the chance to ride with them and look forward to our next trip together.

Thanks to Alan for leading and planning an outstanding trip.  Thanks to everyone for teaching us the ropes.  We enjoyed getting to know everyone better.  This was definitely a highlight of our summer.  Thanks for the kind remarks Papa!
