Blessing of the Bikes
« on: May 01, 2017, 09:00:02 PM »
Blessing of the Bikes at Maranatha Church in Forest Lake is an annual event.  Neville and I, along with my brother, did this back in 2013. This year food and live music is also planned.  Ride through the church and get your bike blessed.

The event is scheduled for June 4th, 12:30 - 3:30. Maranatha Church is located at 24799 Forest Blvd, Forest Lake, MN

There are a few details I remember reading and currently can't find to confirm, so will post further information after I do.

Additional information:

*Church services are at 8:30 and 10:30 if anyone is interested in attending.  The event begins at 12:30 p.m.
*Security will be there watching the parking lot.
*Attendees of the "Blessing" are requested to not reserve spaces for participants that have not arrived yet. Groups should arrive, and get in line, as a group.

If there is any interest, I could certainly lead everyone from the church to the Brass Rail in Grandy for broasted chicken.

I'm in.  Make sure this get on the calendar.  Hopefully we'll have a good turnout for this event and some great chicken after.

Thanks Cindy!

I will be leading a ride to this event from Tousley for those interested and coming from the south.

Meet up between 11:00 and 11:15 with KSU around 11:30.  For those of you where going directly to the church might be a better option, get in line at the church and we'll all meet up after to head to Grandy for chicken at the Brass Rail.

Text me at (651) 398-3522 to let me know you're there.

If this works out we'll consider it for a annual event in the future.

Hope to see you there.   ;D
