The
7th Annual St. Jude Ride is heading to
Hansens Hold-up in Arcadia this year. Bob has coordinated this very worthy event since 2011, and I will again lead this ride. Sponsor sheets were passed out at the
meeting yesterday and will also be available the day of the event. It was requested to scan as a PDF so that is attached, but the official envelope would be preferred. The prize sheet is also attached and there's usually a pin as well. We've agreed to a minimum donation of $25 for this charity ride; please consider collecting more for an even more successful event! If you can't join us for the ride, please sponsor another rider (maybe even the road captain

5/22: added another PDF attachment with info about St. Jude.I'll have more details as soon as I finalize the route. I expect this will be around 200 miles and take much of the day.
6/01: Had a great day pre-riding this yesterday with Keith! Found some new roads, revisited some old favorites, but also found a couple that I wouldn't dare take a group on. 
I've adjusted the route and here's what I've got. We'll leave The Point with KSU at 9am. The first break will be a gas stop in Pepin after just an hour and 49 miles. (Plan your fuel accordingly.) Hansen's will be the next stop.
I may add a breakfast stop in Newport at maybe 7:30a - stay tuned. (see breakfast note below)6/02: Had a great day for final pre-ride today - thanks Keith and Jim! The route is looking great! The weather is looking ... pretty ok.
The second gas stop will be in Lake City, 120 miles after the first one.
